Een op twee Britse topmanagers verdient meer dan 4 miljoen
(Belga) Het loon van de managers van Britse topondernemingen is in 2006 gestegen met 30 procent. Hun gemiddelde jaarinkomen bedraagt intussen 3 miljoen pond (4,4 miljoen euro). Dat blijkt uit een studie van Watson Wyatt. De stijging komt er vooral door de premies die afhankelijk zijn van de winst. Het basisloon van de managers steeg met "slechts" 7,1 procent ten opzichte van vorig jaar. De bonus bij een goed resultaat bedraagt gemiddeld 85 procent van het basissalaris, maar bij een uitzonderlijke winst kan dat oplopen tot 150 procent. Het loon van de modale Brit steeg vorig jaar met 4,1 procent, bij een inflatie van 2,4 procent. Blog DM, 24-11-2006
