The large number of refugees entering Europe poses a serious security risk, the head of the EU's border agency has warned.
Fabrice Leggeri, the head of Frontex, also claimed the civil war in Syria is making it much harder to check the authenticity of Syrian passports found on those entering Europe.
Hundreds of thousands of people fleeing war and poverty in countries such as Syria and Iraq have arrived in Europe this year.

Since last month's attacks in Paris, concern has grown that Islamist militants could enter undetected among the influx.
Leggeri told German newspaper Welt am Sonntag: 'The big inflows of people who are currently entering Europe unchecked are of course a security risk.'

Mening: Ergens is het inderdaad logisch dat deze grote hoeveelheid vluchtelingen het moeilijker maakt om de veiligheid van Europa te verzekeren. Vaak zijn mensen hun papieren kwijt of hebben ze er geen en ga dan maar eens na wie je voor je neus hebt. Of dit een reden is om die mensen aan hun lot over te laten? Zeker en vast niet want de meerderheid zal gewoon op zoek zijn naar een betere thuis en vinden het even erg dat die rotte appels er tussen zitten. Het lijkt mij wel moeilijk om net die rotte appels er tussenuit te halen aangezien er van vele, ondanks dat je hun echte naam weet, niet bekend is wat ze eventueel al op hun kerfstok hebben.
